The Gymslips

One of the best obscure bands of the early 80s, and a top drawer live turn, were The Gymslips. Their tongue in cheek, punky songs about pie and mash, blokes and drinking had a touch of the Suzy Quatro to ’em and are magnificent. Saw ’em live several times and they were, and still are, on the Dansette frequently.
