From NME, 28 August, 1982
By 1982 punk had long been past it’s best. There were a few decent bands but there was some arse kicking music coming over from the USA, the Bad Brains in particular. The Dead Kennedys were popular, and had some interesting things to say, Flipper cut their own swathe. A good one too. I particulary remember going to see ’em on my birthday with the magnificent Miki Berenyi one year. Happy days.
