Frank Chickens

From NME, 31 March, 1984.

Japanese popsters Frank Chickens did plenty of ‘alternative cabaret’ gigs and benefits with many of the Ranters. Kazuko Hohki went on to do a karaoke TV show and write theatre.

Always loved them and associated them with listening to Peel in the dark. Ended up as a part of a live art performance at the bluecoat in Liverpool collaborating with poet Eugene Lange (Might Wah) and kazuko did a solo piece as a part of the event. Too overawed to talk to her though
